DripFit Transformation - Lisa Neumann
How DripFit helped with my transformation:
DripFit has been such an important part of my transformation. Joining the ab challenge in 2020 with DripFit was the catalyst I needed to help me get started with exercise and was where I discovered how much it really helped my mental health too.
I didn’t realize how much I had put myself on the back burner until I learned how much better I felt putting myself first. Through finding DripFit and the amazing community, I learned so much more about myself and how to be the stronger healthier version of myself that I wanted to be. I learned tools for healthy eating and exercises to be stronger physically. Being a part of this community and having so much support has been life changing in my journey.
My transformation story:
I have been on the larger side since I was 10 years old. I always loved myself and was very body positive, but after having two kids I decided I wanted to be healthier and stronger. I wanted to be a good role model for my kids and have energy to keep up with them.
In 2020, I made up my mind to start living a healthier lifestyle. Covid hit and then DripFit announced a free ab challenge. My friend Crystie asked if I wanted to join her team so I did.
That first connection with the DripFit community and using DripFit products sparked a love of fitness and exercise for me. I became accountable to myself and never looked back.
Since that first ab challenge, I joined subsequent challenges hosted by DripFit and in October of 2021 became a DripFit ambassador.
I was working out and eating healthier, but there were still some missing pieces in my fitness journey. I was doing a lot of random programs, which kept my workouts interesting and fun, but didn’t build as much on previous efforts. So when given the opportunity to do group training with DrenchFit in 2022, I decided to give it a try.
My coaches, Tanya Konschuh and Brenley Cunningham were the perfect fit to help support my goals.
I was now exercising and eating better, but I had still not put my mental health into consideration in my weight loss and fitness journey. I figure because I was a pretty happy person, it should be enough. But when I started to work on the mental side of my health in the Freedom to Live Better program with Brenley, some more of the pieces started to fall into place.
I started to realize that even though I made exercise a priority, I wasn’t actually putting myself as a priority or my own self care, and my relationship with food wasn’t as good as I thought it was.
After working on all aspects of my health, physically, mentally and with fuelling myself properly, the pieces are fitting together much better.
I have lost over 40 pounds and 8 dress sizes, and lots of inches. But I have gained strength, determination, confidence and a community that has become such an important part of my life.
Fitness and health are not one and done for me. I am in it for the long game and will continue to put in the work, because I know I am worth it and I want to be healthy and strong, so I can be here for my family.
